IAE: Where are you from and who are some of your biggest influences in music?
BC: I’m from Southern California and some of my biggest influences growing up were Whitney Houston, Mariah
Carey and Christina Aguilera. Now, I find myself influenced by artists like Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, Pink and
Paramore.
IAE: Do you write and produce your own songs, or do you have someone else do that for you?
BC: I write all of my own music, usually with one of my producers. I really want to learn how to produce one day
as well! But writing is a must. All of my songs are based off of personal experience or things that I have
witnessed in my own life.
IAE: Describe your music style?
BC: Its pop/rock music. My music is similar to my personality in the sense that its intense and playful all at the
same time.
IAE: A few months ago, you won “The Next American Star” contest. How has that helped you in your
journey?
BC: Its great recognition to win The Next American Star! Over the next year I’ll be making over $24,000 for
winning the competition which really helps when it comes to making new music and touring! Hopefully it will
open up more touring options as well.
IAE: How often do you perform out, and who books your gigs for you?
BC: Most of my touring for the last 4 years has been as the spokesperson for the “Milk Rocks!” campaign. So I
go into schools all over the country giving concerts and promoting healthy living. It’s a blast! I usually do
anywhere from 8-20 concerts a month.
IAE: Where can people buy your music and keep up with you?
BC: My music is up on iTunes, Napster, Amazon and rhapsody so if you search my name on there you will find

IAE: What is your ultimate goal with your music career?
BC: My goal is to reach as many people as I can with my music. For me, music has always been about relating
to other people in the midst of their pain and their joy. So I hope to keep expanding my touring and always
create new music!
