Nasty Habits is an interesting find because they have a very organic old school live
sound that is not heard by too many rock bands theses days. Listening to these guys
made me feel I was at a live outdoor concert like Bonnaroo.

Fronted by former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist, Jon Nelson, Nasty Habits brings a
kick a** first and take names later project that is sure to get your blood pumping.

Nasty Habits open up their collective of songs with "Gethsamane," a song that bears
the incredible electric rock guitar leads we've come to know from Jon's work with the
Chili Peppers. Lyrically, this song is delivering a message that must be heard! I won't
divulge too much, just go listen to it.

Another favorite of mine is "I Don't Mind" because, again, Jon and the band's
musicianship is incredible. From electric guitar to the bass to the drums, this song
rocks out. Also, the message in this one is a must hear by anyone looking for
substance and a truly revelatory experience.

Overall, this project is pretty good and the only drawback I found is that the mix on
some of the songs needs work because I couldn't understand what Jon was saying
sometimes.

MUSICAL GOAL: “Our ultimate goal is to be heard by millions. The music has a
message, and we as a band are a statement, the two combined have a mission.” –
