Key Tracks: We Are The Same
Dylan Lloyd can sing and write songs...period! There's really no other way to put it. One
listen to this guy and you'll know you're hearing someone who was heavily influenced by
the late great Michael Jackson, while he doesn't try to mimic the King of Pop, Dylan
doesn't try to hide Michael's influence in his music...which is why this guy's so awesome.
"We Are The Same" is an incredible song by Dylan. From the lyrical content, to the
music, and on down to the vocals, this song is a true breath of fresh air where Dylan
sings about having so many things in common with a loved one that he can't hold back
how he feels about it. His vocal power meshes very well with the guitars and keyboards
in the track, while the drums carry a stadium feel that could easily make Dylan a
superstar if he ever gets the chance to perform this song on a show like the GRAMMYS.
You should check out the video for this one (see above). I really like this track a lot.
Some of Dylan's other awesome songs include: "Hold Me Love", "Today Is About Me",
and "Spin". Each of these tracks showcases Dylan's vocal and songwriting strengths and
are every reason this guy deserves a record deal so that he can gain the exposure he
needs. Overall, Dylan is a great songwriter and singer whose day in the spotlight is
coming if he keeps at it.
MUSICAL GOAL: "SHORT TERM GOAL: I am currently signed to a music publishing
deal with Radar Music/BMG. I want a record deal as well. FUTURE GOAL: To have my
music bring people together peacefully and lovingly around the world...and for that my
music would be revered." - Dylan Lloyd
