Key Tracks:
Robert Torres is a self-taught guitarist whose music needs no help from drummer or
other band mates. With just his trusty old guitars, Robert has crafted some of the most
inspiring and creative instrumental tracks available by a solo musician.
Instrumentalist don't have it very easy in the music industry unless you're a classical, jazz
or electronica/dance artist, but I think Robert can hold his own as a rock instrumentalist.
He was able to keep my attention and instill a sense of confidence in what I was hearing.
"Innocence" is a very cool piece of music by Robert Torres that should be heard by the
masses and I think people will really enjoy it. Best described as a peaceful ballad,
Innocence has a musical presence that could easily be mixed into any rock or melodic
breakbeat and fused into a video game soundtrack.
Robert's got a lot of potential in his music and could blend well with a vocalist, as heard
on his track titled, "Lovers Scorned." I could imagine that if he really wanted to, Robert
could easily compose for independent films, commercials and video games.
Overall, I think Robert Torres' music breathes well on its own, but could be a bit longer
time-wise. Nonetheless, I like what he has to offer in his music and I look forward to
hearing his compositions in some of my favorite movies in the future.
