I must say when I saw that I would be listening to a country/rock and roll singer from
Norway, I had my guards up. How good is this going to sound? A country singer from
Norway? The first song blew me away!' Too Rock and Roll for Country' is my favorite,
hands down! Who says you can't hear awesome country music in Oslo? Not I. not I.
Music is borderless and limitless. That is what I love the most about it.

I was all in from the first track and couldn’t wait to hear more. Her vocals are piercingly
strong, sultry and most of all dynamic. I love her vocal performance the most on 'Dancing
in My Mind'. Karin can be a powerhouse when need be, then soft and sweet. She dips to
the bottom and back up to her higher register effortlessly. She definitely knows how to
keep the listener engaged.

Needless to say, this album excites me! I love her blend of country and rock - two of my
favorite genres. Her vocal tone is simply wonderful. So much so, that even if you're not a
fan of either of these types of music, you will still enjoy. Karin tells her stories so well
through each song. Even some of the best vocalists aren't able to emotionally stimulate
me as well as I've heard on this album. Case in point, 'Long Lost Highway' is another of
my faves. This song is so full of emotion.

My only qualm would be that some of the songs are a little too short. Karin's music takes
me to a place that is exhilarating and intriguing, and I want more. I appreciate how she
lets us in and shares herself. Sometimes it's very intimate and other times loud and in
your face. This is exactly what music should do. It should move you in some way. If it's
not, why listen? Karin Wright may have just what you're looking for.
